WYSONG, MAX

Max passed away March 27, 2021 in Rome, Ga. after a short illness with his family by his side.
Max was born in Ann Arbor to Max L. Wysong Sr and Betty Jane Wysong. He moved to Traverse City as a young boy.
Max started his education in a one room school house on McKinley Road in Peninsula Township. When he was 13, Max traveled to Australia with an exchange teacher, Tom Fennell and Tom's family where he attended Queechy High School in Launceston, Tasmania for a year. Max later graduated from The Leelanau School in Glen Arbor.
Max was an honorable veteran and a graduate of Eastern Michigan University before moving to Florida in the early 1980's.
Max is survived by his wife, Judy; along with his son, Michael; daughters, Britnie and Heidi; grandchildren, Bailey, Myles and Lila; and his three brothers, Peter, Mark and Josh; and his sister, Merry Lee.
