Sharon Beth (Soper) Henning, 48, of Williamsburg, died Monday, February 27, 1995, at Traverse City Community Hospital.
Born Dec. 20, 1946, in Jackson, she was the daughter of Floyd and Belva (Baker) Soper. She grew up the Elk Rapids area and was a seamstress. On April, 3, 1965, in Escondido, California she married Gary D. Henning, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Martin D. Henning of Aliso Viojo, Calif., one daughter, Alyssa D. Henning of Lake Leelanau, her parents, Floyd and Belva Soper of Acme, three brothers, Dan Soper of Elk Rapids, Mark Soper of Acme and David Soper of Traverse City; one sister, Dawn Champigny of Rapid City, and two granddaughters Nicole Bodley and Amber Bodley, both of Lake Leelanau.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 2nd, at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes, where friends called from 11 a.m. until time of services. The Rev. Dan Herlein officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elk Rapids.
