 SMITH, ROBERT W. (Bob) In loving memory and great thankfulness, our husband, son, brother, father and Opa, passed away June 13, 2009. Surviving are his wife, Inga Smith; mother, Doris (Smith) Boisvert; daughters, Stephanie Stiles and Monika Landolt and families; sisters, Connie (Smith) Peck and Patty (Smith) Tompkins and families; as well as many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Roy Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mapleton, with the Rev. Edwin Thome officiating. Burial and committal services were held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorials in Bob's honor may be directed to the Burundi Orphanage Fund, c/o The Rotary Club of Lansing.
