Gordon Zoulek passed away on Dec. 22, 2020 at his winter home in Florida. Â He was born in Traverse City on Dec. 3, 1946 to Tony Zoulek and Helen (Rumbach) (Zoulek), acquired his stepfather John Schulte.
Gordon graduated from Traverse City Central in 1965.  After graduation he was employed by the City of Traverse City until being drafted into the U.S. Army, serving his country in the 2nd Armored Division.  After returning home, he re-entered the work force in Traverse City’s Engineering Department, eventually becoming Street Superintendent.
Gordon enjoyed spending spare time at Lake Leelanau RV Park with his family.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Judy; and children, Angela (Terry) Williams, Craig (Emily) Zoulek and Tracy (Sam) Donahoe; plus precious grandchildren Dylan, Brandon, Kayla, Sydney, Evie and Henley; brother, Larry; and sister, Kathy (Frank) Mikula. Â Gordon's parents and brothers Eugene and Jay preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be held at a later date this summer.
