Hmm who is this?? Dan Steinebach will remember the car. Picture was taken at Thirlby Field .
Mike's commentary on the story behind this photo:
The picture was taken in 1968 and in the Tue Sept 24th edition of the Record Eagle. It was an ad for Hamilton's my dad's store where I was working at the time. Pop got the bright idea to by a bunch of Nehru suites and pendants because he thought they would be big lol.
Then he sent me off to Thirlby field for a photo shoot. We never did sell any of the darn things and they all went to the street sale at pennies on the dollar.
The car connection with Dan is that at that same time I had a second job working as a waiter at the Park Place with Dan. One day he was telling me about this car he had and invited me over to look at it. It was a Jaguar E type. It blew me away so I had to go out and buy one then really had to work those two jobs to pay for the damn thing. Dan and I did have much fun, however, both at work and taking the cars out on tour on Sundays and passing everything on the road.
