 KROUPA, JOHN RICHARD John R. Kroupa, 21, of 2464 Kroupa Road, Old Mission Peninsula died early Saturday morning, May 25, 1968, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City as a result of injuries sustained earlier in an automobile accident.  He was born October 9, 1946 at Traverse City and he was a 1965 Senior High School graduate  He was studying horticulture at Michigan State University and was associated with his father in an Old Mission Peninsula orchard operation. Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald N. Kroupa, a sister Miss Marilyn Kroupa of Wyoming, two brothers David of Old Mission Peninsula and Nick at home, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28th at Martinson funeral home in Traverse City, the Rev. Philip Jaquish officiated with burial in the family lot in Ogdensburg cemetery.
