 OLMSTEAD, JAMES LINN James L. Olmstead, 41, a businessman, died Thursday, June 16, 1988, as a result of a fire at his home in Traverse City. Â He owned and operated the Garfield Eono-Wash. Â He was engaged to remarry Danielle Olmstead. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan and earlier had worked at Chrysler Motor Corporation. Â One of Jim's enjoyments was Bowling. Born, March 31, 1947, in Ottawa, Il., he was the son of Harold and Caroline (Schweiger) Olmstead.
