 BARRETT, RONALD JAY Ronald Jay Barrett, 21, 1014 Boyd died Thursday afternoon, August 1, 1968, at Munson Medical Center from injuries suffered early Monday morning when he fell from a moving convertible. He was born April 12, 1947, in Traverse City, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Barrett. He attended local schools and graduated from TCHS in 1965. He served two years with the U.S. Army, including 13 months in Korea. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are three brothers, William Jr. of Mason, Loren and Marvin, both of Travers City; on sister, Jan Marie at home, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives. Funeral services were held Monday, August 5th at 4 p.m, at Reynolds funeral home with Dr. Howard Towne officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery. Posted By: Administrator - 04-11-2005 Views: 5770 |
