 LYLE LARILEK, BARBARA M. Barbara M. Varilek, 60, of Lecanto, Fla., died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at home after a lengthy illness. She had been under the long-term care of her son, Jason and, more recently, Hospice. Born Nov. 8, 1947, in Traverse City, to Robert and Mary Lyle, she moved to Florida in 1991. There she was a special education teacher for 15 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Lecanto, Florida and the Crystal River Moose Lodge. She was dedicated to her work, including teaching homebound students during her after-school hours, as well as helping others through school and Moose Lodge. Survivors include her son, Jason Bohlk; two grandsons, Robert and Brett Bohlk; and a sister, Carole (William) Kolleth. Family and friends gathered Tuesday, April 1, at the home of William and Carole Kolleth. Cremation has taken place.
