ROBINSON, EDWARD DANIEL

Edward Daniel Robinson, age 70, of Norwood Young America passed away, July 29, 2018.  Ed was born Oct. 31, 1947 in Traverse City, Michigan.  He graduated from Central High School in 1965.  He was preceded in death by his parents James and Bertha Robinson.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Marlene of 46 years; daughters, Jennifer (Robinson) Monk of MS, Katie Robinson of MN; son-in-law, Brandon Monk of MS, James Robinson of RI, Eva (Robinson) Osga of MI.; 2 grandsons Tyler and Daniel Monk of MS; several sisters and brother -in- laws, nieces, and nephews.
Ed joined the navy in 1966. He married the love of his life Marlene Clous on April 8, 1972. He loved small game hunting, deer hunting and fishing with family.  He worked at Chef Pierre in Traverse City, MI, Sara Lee in Forest MS and retired from Legendary Baking n Chaksa, MN.  
A mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Church of the Ascension in Norwood Young America.  Visitation was held 1 hour prior to the mass.  Following the mass honors will be by VFW Post 1783.  A lunch will be served following the honors. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens in Traverse City, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Ascension Respect Life or Catholic United Financial.
